Your TMS has the right numbers. Your reports might not.

I build and fix reports, SQL, and dashboards for carriers running TMW Suite or McLeod LoadMaster. Thirty years in trucking, from the dock to the database.

Example: one lane, one week
Loaded miles 2,140 mi
Revenue per loaded mile $2.41
Deadhead miles left out 412 mi
Fuel surcharge counted twice $0.18/mi
Revenue per total mile $1.87

Illustrative numbers. This is the kind of gap a report review finds.

Who this is for

  • Carriers with roughly 10 to 300 trucks who run TMW Suite or McLeod LoadMaster
  • Brokers and 3PLs who need clean lane, customer, and carrier numbers
  • Teams without a full-time report developer, or with one who is buried
  • Anyone moving off an older system, like AS400, who needs the data to come along cleanly

What I do

Custom reports and SQL

From $500 per report

Revenue per mile, empty miles, on-time, lane profit, billing exceptions. Built in SQL or SSRS against your TMW or McLeod data, with notes your team can follow.

Power BI and DOMO dashboards

From $2,500

One page your managers check every morning: loads, revenue, miles, and the exceptions that need attention. Refreshes on its own.

Settlement and driver pay review

From $1,000

Make sure pay statements match the miles and accessorials in the system, and are clear enough that drivers stop calling payroll to ask. Fewer disputes, fewer drivers leaving over pay.

Data cleanup and system moves

Quoted per project

Field mapping, code crosswalks, and validation when you change systems or merge data from more than one.

Hourly support

$100 per hour, 10-hour blocks

For the steady list of small fixes and questions that never makes it to the top of anyone's list.

How it works

  1. Free call

Twenty minutes. You tell me which numbers you don't trust or which report you need.

  2. Fixed quote

You get a written scope and price before any work starts. No open-ended billing.

  3. Delivered and handed over

You get the finished work plus plain notes on how it works. You own all of it.

Background

Over 30 years in transportation: warehouse and freezer operations, TMS implementations, program management at large carriers, and the last several years building BI reports and data pipelines. I've sat on both sides, the people using the reports and the people building them, so I know which numbers dispatch, billing, and the owner actually look at.

Common questions

Do you need access to our TMS?

Read-only database access is easiest. If that isn't possible, exports or a copy of the reports you use today work too. I sign an NDA before seeing any data.

Who owns the reports and code?

You do. Every query, report, and dashboard is handed over with notes so your team can run and change it without me.

Is the work remote?

Yes. Work is done remotely, with calls scheduled around your operation. Expect a reply within one business day.

What if my question is about my own paycheck?

That's what the free settlement calculator is for. Consulting is for companies that want their systems and reports fixed.
